This resource binder is designed to support your efforts in getting physical activity into the day at your school. This program was created to help students achieve 150 minutes of physical activity in combination with physical education and recess during their school week.

While we know that 44% of Boston Public Schools students are overweight or obese, it is important that they are moving everyday both in and out of school. Using the strategy of wellness champions to help increase physical activity time during the school day, it is the hopes that a healthier school environment will be created providing students a place to learn and grow.
